The Data Analyst at Kpler plays a crucial role in understanding, analyzing, and transforming data to improve analytical output and product offerings in the maritime industry.
This position involves collaborating with business users to understand their needs, generating insights, and deploying analytical outputs.
The analyst will lead projects that require data research, collection, and processing from various sources.
Responsibilities include developing clean code, data transformation processes, and automation to streamline operations.
The role also involves designing dashboards, reports, and analytical tools with a focus on data quality and KPI monitoring.
The analyst will identify patterns, trends, and impactful insights to provide data-driven decision support.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Proficiency with SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL), Python, and visualization tools like Tableau is necessary.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
Familiarity with the maritime industry is desired.
Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as AWS, Kafka, Data Lakes, and Warehousing is preferred.
