Factored is seeking an exceptionally talented Data Analyst to join their team remotely in Latin America.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to uncover valuable insights that will drive strategic decisions and improve business performance.
Key responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and transforming raw data from various sources into structured datasets for analysis.
The analyst will perform thorough data analysis using statistical techniques and tools to identify patterns, correlations, and trends.
They will develop and implement data models, algorithms, and visualizations to present findings clearly and concisely.
Monitoring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives is also a crucial part of the role.
The Data Analyst will identify opportunities for process improvements and develop data-driven solutions.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights and recommendations is essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
A solid understanding of statistical concepts and experience applying statistical analysis methods is required.
Experience in consuming datasets from APIs, ETL, databases, or web scraping processes is necessary.
Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and database management systems is expected.
Proficiency in data visualization techniques using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and translate complex data into actionable insights are required.
Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is a nice-to-have.
Experience handling Excel Plugins and integrations with languages such as Python or R is also a plus.
Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling is considered advantageous.
