Remote Data Analyst

Description:

• Zumo is a blockchain-powered digital asset partner for individuals and institutions, offering a consumer crypto wallet and a B2B crypto-as-a-service platform.
• The Data Analyst role involves solving business challenges through data analysis and collaborating with various departments to provide insights for informed decision-making.
• The position requires interaction with a talented team and the use of skills in sourcing, wrangling, visualizing, and performing complex analysis.
• The Data Analyst will report to the Chief Data and Analytics Officer and work alongside other analysts in the Data team.
• The salary for this position ranges from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
• Key duties include collaborating with stakeholders, enhancing ETL processes, creating reports, communicating data insights, supporting data governance, and promoting data literacy.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in analytical roles.
• A degree-level qualification in data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related numerical discipline is required.
• Advanced coding skills in SQL are necessary, with Python and PySpark being beneficial but not essential.
• Experience in data visualization and reporting using tools other than Excel, such as Power BI or Tableau, is preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and write clear documentation.
• Candidates should be curious, engaged problem solvers who enjoy collaboration and have a successful track record in delivering data-driven solutions with limited senior support.
