Description:

  • Constructor is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Data Science Integrations team, focusing on A/B tests and customer onboarding in a remote capacity.
  • The company powers product search and discovery for major retailers, emphasizing metrics over features and utilizing machine learning to enhance revenue.
  • The Data Science Integrations team is responsible for running successful A/B tests at scale, ensuring data quality, and verifying customer integrations.
  • The role involves data exploration to understand user behavior, delivering analytical insights to merchandizers, and collaborating with the Customer Success and Customer Integrations teams.
  • The position requires working with leading e-commerce companies and collaborating with various engineering teams to optimize the platform's performance.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in BI tools for data analysis and dashboard creation for both technical and non-technical audiences is required.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa are essential.
  • A strong interest in leveraging large datasets to drive product innovation and deliver business value is necessary.
  • Familiarity with mathematical statistics, particularly A/B testing, is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL and exploratory data analysis using Python (including pandas and numpy) is essential, with a preference for experience in big data technologies like Spark, Presto/Athena, and Hive.
  • Ability to quickly prototype and provide analytical support in the e-commerce sector by identifying relevant features and metrics is important.
  • Willingness to develop and maintain effective communication tools for reporting business performance and informing cross-functional decision-making is required.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Athena/Presto, Python (notebooks), Databricks, and Google Analytics is preferred.
