Description:
Constructor is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Data Science Integrations team, focusing on A/B tests and customer onboarding in a remote capacity.
The role involves ensuring successful A/B tests at scale while minimizing manual engineering effort and owning the customer onboarding process from a data quality standpoint.
Responsibilities include performing data exploration to understand user behavior, suggesting opportunities for improving recommender and search systems, and implementing data delivery pipelines and UX/UI changes.
The analyst will deliver analytical insights to merchandisers for effective decision-making and assist the Customer Success team in communicating with merchandizers during integration.
Collaboration with the Customer Integrations team is essential to ensure customers are integrated without bugs and have sufficient tracking for data pipelines and models.
Requirements:
Proficiency in BI tools for data analysis and building dashboards for both technical and non-technical users is required.
Excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa are essential.
A strong interest in leveraging large datasets to drive product innovation and deliver business value is necessary.
Familiarity with mathematical statistics, particularly A/B testing, is required.
Proficiency in SQL and exploratory data analysis using Python (including pandas, numpy, and data visualization libraries) is expected; familiarity with big data technologies like Spark, Presto/Athena, and Hive is a plus.
Ability to quickly prototype and provide analytical support for e-commerce initiatives by identifying relevant features and metrics is important.
Willingness to develop and maintain effective communication tools for reporting business performance and informing cross-functional decision-making is required.
Familiarity with tools such as Athena/Presto, Python (notebooks), Databricks, and Google Analytics is preferred.
