The Data Analyst will help optimize the product discovery platform and deliver a measurable impact on search performance and business metrics.
In this role, the analyst will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement, validate current initiatives, and propose actionable ideas to enhance search quality.
Insights and recommendations from the analyst will play a key role in aligning search results with user intent, improving search relevance, and driving better business outcomes.
Challenges include designing metrics to evaluate the relevance and performance of search results, diving into data exploration to uncover growth opportunities, tracking ML models performance, and improving explanation workflows for search algorithms.

Requirements:

Candidates must have diversified experience in data/product analytics, including A/B experiments and other data-driven decision-making approaches.
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and data processing is required.
Familiarity with math statistics, particularly A/B-tests, is necessary.
Experience with PySpark or ETL pipelines is preferred.
Candidates should be excited to leverage massive amounts of data to drive product innovation and deliver business value.
Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate business needs into technical language and vice versa.
Strong strategic planning and prioritization skills are required.
