Description:

The Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's data architecture and strategy.
This role ensures that data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently and securely to support business intelligence, data analytics, and machine learning operations (MLOps) practices.
Key responsibilities include planning and implementing a robust, scalable data architecture, designing and developing data pipelines for ETL processes, building and maintaining data warehouses, and collaborating with data scientists and machine learning engineers.
The Data Architect will also implement security measures to safeguard data privacy, establish data governance policies, and work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
Staying updated with emerging technologies and optimizing data performance are also crucial aspects of this role.
Documentation and knowledge sharing of data architecture, models, and processing workflows are essential tasks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience in data architecture design and implementation.
A strong knowledge of data engineering principles and practices is required.
Expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration is essential.
Experience in MLOps and machine learning pipelines is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages is required.
Familiarity with big data platforms such as Apache Arrow, Apache Spark, Apache Iceberg, and Clickhouse, as well as cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, is needed.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Preferred certifications include AWS Cloud Data Engineer and AWS Machine Learning Ops Engineer.
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
