Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• As a Data Engineer at Vetcove, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to tackle complex data challenges.
• You will play a crucial role in building and optimizing the infrastructure that supports data flows in and out of production applications.
• Leveraging advanced techniques like Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI strategies, you will programmatically clean and structure data for more efficient data management and analysis.
• Key responsibilities include designing infrastructure for efficient data ingestion, utilizing databases like ClickHouse for high-performance storage, monitoring and optimizing data workflows, collaborating with backend engineers for seamless data integration, and applying AI technologies for automating data cleaning processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• You should have 3+ years of experience using Python for data-centric programming tasks.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data engineering is necessary.
• Proven experience in implementing Large Language Models in data pipelines is essential.
• Ability to design new features around data models with accuracy, security, and performance in mind.
• Strong analytical skills to process and analyze large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data.
• Must possess a methodical and analytical mindset with robust problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities are required for this role.
