Found is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Data team responsible for researching, training, and deploying ML models, optimizing data pipelines, and supporting decision-making.
The Data Engineer will play a critical role in scaling data infrastructure, building and scaling ML and data platforms, and empowering stakeholders to leverage data effectively.
Recent team accomplishments include deploying a feature store, optimizing batch and streaming jobs, training models for real-time financial transaction monitoring, and deploying an XGBoost model for user LTV prediction.
Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, building, and operating large-scale data infrastructure systems, building a data platform-as-a-service, bridging the gap between engineering and analytics, and implementing ETL infrastructures.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data infrastructure, experience with relational databases, dbt, and Airflow, cloud-native big data infrastructure experience, and proficiency in writing clean code primarily in Python.
Preferred qualifications include previous fintech or startup experience, as well as experience with bookkeeping or taxes related to self-employment.

Requirements:

5+ years experience in data infrastructure, data engineering, or analytics engineering roles.
Experience with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL), dbt, and Airflow.
Advocated for and implemented new technologies or open-source frameworks for data-driven decision-making.
Experience with cloud-native big data infrastructure on public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure, BigQuery/Redshift/Synapse).
Ability to write clean and maintainable code, primarily in Python.

Competitive salary range of $181,000 - $209,000.
