Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • Commercial experience developing Spark Jobs using Scala and experience with Java and Scala is necessary; Python is a plus.
  • Experience in data processing using traditional and distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark, and AWS S3 is required.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms is essential for building efficient solutions.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL and Cassandra, is necessary.
  • Familiarity with messaging technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka is required.
  • Experience using orchestration software such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Salt is preferred.
  • Confidence in building complex ETL workflows using tools like Luigi or Airflow is necessary.
  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, GCP) and monitoring software (ELK stack) is required.
  • Motivated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt solutions to complex challenges are essential.
