Description:

Constructor.io is seeking a Data Engineer for their Retail Media team, responsible for building a platform connecting e-commerce retailers and brands.
The role involves delivering new reports and tools for merchandizers and analysts, improving dashboard experience, performing data exploration, and implementing data pipelines for real-time analytics.
The Data Engineer will participate in product research and development, iterating with prototypes and customer product interviews.

Requirements:

Proficiency in PySpark, Python (python, databricks, luigi), and BI tools for data analysis and building dashboards.
Excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into technical language and vice versa.
Excitement to utilize large datasets for driving product innovation and delivering business value.
Strong skills in SQL, exploratory data analysis with Python (pandas & numpy, data visualization libraries), and practical familiarity with the big data stack (Spark, Presto/Athena, Hive).
Ability to fast prototype, provide analytical support for e-commerce initiatives, and focus on relevant features and metrics.
Willingness to develop effective communication tools for reporting business performance and informing decision-making at a cross-functional level.
Proficiency in Python, numpy, pandas, SQL, pyspark, flask, docker, and git.
