Versapay is seeking a Data Scientist to drive innovation and fuel growth within the company.
The role involves owning the entire data science lifecycle, from identifying high-impact opportunities to deploying and optimizing models that influence business strategy and bottom line.
Responsibilities include data exploration and analysis to uncover insights and trends, model development and deployment to solve business operations challenges, and designing experiments to optimize model performance.
The Data Scientist will create visualizations to communicate insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of data science solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Data Scientist role, demonstrating success in applying data science techniques to solve business problems.
A "builder" mentality is required, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and lead data science projects from ideation to deployment.
A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field is necessary.
Proven ability to formulate hypotheses, design and execute experiments, and analyze results with a strong understanding of statistical concepts is essential.
Strong communication skills are required, with the ability to present complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Technical skills must include strong proficiency in Python, experience with machine learning algorithms, familiarity with data visualization tools, and knowledge of SQL with experience in relational databases.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $145,000 per year.
