Description:

Movement Labs is building the first network of modular Move-based blockchains, focusing on performance, liquidity, and composability.
The Data Scientist will drive strategic insights and data intelligence to enable smarter decisions across the organization.
The role involves building data intelligence infrastructure, conducting on-chain and off-chain data analysis, and uncovering insights that drive business strategy and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining data infrastructure, collecting and preparing data for analysis, developing predictive models, performing data analysis, creating methodologies for data-driven recommendations, providing analytical support to various teams, developing dashboards, and supporting financial modeling and ad-hoc tasks.
The Data Scientist will work through complex variables to inform business strategy.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
Experience with both on-chain and off-chain data analysis is required, or a proven ability to learn and apply on-chain data skills.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a forward-looking approach to leveraging data for strategic decision-making are necessary.
Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools is essential.
Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL is required.
Experience in building and operationalizing data dashboards is necessary.
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously is important.
Candidates should have a curiosity and passion for exploring data, finding patterns, and discovering new perspectives.
