Description:

Ondo Finance is seeking its first Data Scientist to lead data and analytics initiatives.
The role involves building comprehensive on-chain analytics infrastructure and developing data pipelines.
The Data Scientist will deliver actionable insights across products including tokenized treasuries, equities, ETFs, and Ondo Chain.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in web3 technologies, particularly DeFi, along with strong analytical capabilities and experience in data visualization.
Responsibilities include establishing systems for tracking market trends, competitor activity, and smart contract volumes.
The candidate must have technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and R, and the ability to communicate complex findings effectively to stakeholders.
Target outcomes include developing robust data visualization systems, maintaining efficient data pipelines, and implementing automated tracking systems.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-4 years of experience as a Data Scientist and/or Data Analyst.
At least 1 year of experience as a Data Scientist at a web3/crypto company or demonstrated experience with blockchain data and web3 technologies is required.
Strong proficiency in writing complex queries, statistical analysis, and programming languages such as Python, SQL, and R is essential.
Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies is necessary.
Candidates should have a web3 product sense and be active users of web3 technologies.
Experience with and knowledge of DeFi is required.
Strong proficiency in data visualization tools and BI platforms is necessary.
Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development is required.
Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
