The role involves designing and implementing scalable and efficient applications to support data needs.
The software engineer will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams to build and optimize data pipelines.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining micro-services that integrate with the data-lake and ensuring data accessibility, security, and structure for analytics.
The position requires driving the creation of efficient data infrastructures aligned with the company's architecture standards.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in data pipelines and architecture.
Proficiency in designing and implementing data warehouses, databases, and data lakes is necessary.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for data storage and processing is required.
Expertise in SQL and proficiency with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, is essential.
Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools, including Databricks, Airflow, or AWS Glue, is needed.
Experience in data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning is required.
Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka is preferred.
Understanding of data governance frameworks and quality assurance processes is necessary.

The salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $120,000 a year, determined by role, level, and location.
