Description:
Allergan Data Labs is seeking a Data Solutions Engineer to join their team remotely.
The role involves designing, developing, and implementing data solutions aligned with the Data Governance Program.
You will collaborate with key stakeholders to address technical problems and ensure data is structured to support organizational goals.
Responsibilities include understanding data challenges, creating supporting artifacts for data solutions, contributing to data policies, and optimizing data system performance.
You will assist partners with data migration, maintain vendor relationships, and conduct industry research to enhance the Data Governance program.
The position requires continuous personal development and staying updated on data management tools and regulatory frameworks.
Requirements:
A solid understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, and related regulatory frameworks is required.
At least 3 years of experience working with data-related teams such as data governance, data engineering, or DataOps is necessary.
Experience with data governance tools and strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in data-related roles.
Familiarity with data storage architectures and data flow architectures is necessary.
Proficiency in data querying skills, including SQL, and the ability to work effectively from a remote location using collaborative tools is required.
