Description:
MacStadium is seeking its first in-house Developer Relations professional to nurture relationships with customers.
This role will educate developers about MacStadium's technology, provide technical support, and create a community around the product.
The position reports to the Chief Product Officer, with a preferred location in Atlanta, GA, but is open to remote candidates within the U.S. (excluding Georgia and Nevada).
Remote applicants outside the Eastern time zone will need to work hours that coincide with Eastern time.
Responsibilities include content creation, community engagement, and product advocacy.
Content creation involves developing how-to guides, tutorials, and technical content across various platforms.
Community engagement includes participating in online communities and attending local meetups to establish connections in the Apple development and DevOps community.
Product advocacy requires collaboration with internal teams to reflect customer needs in product development and support.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 1-5 years of experience in iOS or macOS development or DevOps-related roles.
Some experience in Developer Relations, Evangelism, Technical Documentation, or Marketing is required, including writing blog posts, authoring documentation, and engaging with developer communities.
Strong technical writing skills are necessary to create engaging guides, tutorials, and blog posts.
Engagement in developer communities such as Stack Overflow, GitHub, and Twitter/X is essential, demonstrating an authentic presence.
Public speaking or presentation experience at meetups, webinars, or conferences is required.
A passion for engaging with developers and understanding their challenges is crucial.
Preferred skills include open-source contributions, familiarity with DevOps tooling relevant to Apple development, and knowledge of cloud platforms and remote Mac infrastructure.
