Remote DevOps Architect (Individual contributor role)

Description:

• Binance is seeking a Senior DevOps or DevOps Architect to enhance their infrastructure and configuration management.
• The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale, complex, and highly critical applications.
• Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and administering tools to automate operational activities and improve engineering productivity.
• The architect will propose and drive architecture improvements and recommend process enhancements.
• The position requires finding solutions to production issues after conducting root cause analysis.
• Automating continuous delivery and on-demand capacity management solutions is a key task.
• The role also involves developing configuration and infrastructure solutions for internal deployments.
• The architect will be responsible for updating, tracking, and resolving technical issues.
• Evaluating new technology options and vendor products while ensuring critical system security through best-in-class security solutions is essential.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of technical experience in a similar role, architecting and supporting large-scale production systems.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS and GCP is required.
• Candidates should have experience in large-scale distributed environments.
• A demonstrated robust programming skill in Python, Go, or similar languages is necessary.
• Familiarity with tools such as Saltstack, Terraform, Ansible, and Docker is expected.
• Proficiency with Linux is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is mandatory.
