Description:

The role is for a DevOps Engineer at Picus Security, a leading security validation company based in Ankara, Turkey, offering a remote full-time position.
The engineer will be responsible for automation, implementation, administration, and maintenance of CI/CD infrastructure, databases, and cloud-based/on-prem servers.
Key responsibilities include managing and configuring software on AWS, developing CI/CD pipelines, managing user access, and implementing monitoring systems.
The engineer will also manage AWS infrastructure as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and develop tools to assist development teams with deployments.
Participation in on-call rotation schedules is required.
The position requires a results-driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:

A BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field is required.
Candidates must have experience with distributed systems in a Linux-based environment.
Experience with AWS and/or other public cloud computing platforms is necessary.
A strong automation mindset to continuously improve the development and production environment is essential.
Familiarity with Git is required.
Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, and Terraform is needed.
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language is required.
Experience with site reliability practices and system monitoring is necessary.
Excellent teamwork, communication skills, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
A humble, friendly, adaptive, and result-oriented personality is preferred.
