  • Responsibilities include working closely with engineering teams to implement and support Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.

  • Key accountabilities include designing and maintaining build, release, and deployment toolchains, implementing CI pipelines, defining and improving CD processes, and establishing monitoring solutions for application performance.
  • The engineer will also participate in process improvement initiatives and support onboarding and training for new team members.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in DevOps roles with a focus on DevOps practices and principles.
  • Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar is required.
  • Familiarity with binary repository tools (e.g., Nexus Sonatype, JFrog Artifactory) and publishing binaries with Java, Maven, Gradle, NPM, and Python is necessary.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing cloud infrastructure is essential.
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Docker, and basic knowledge of Kubernetes is required.
  • Strong scripting skills in at least one language (Python, Bash, GoLang) to automate processes are needed.
  • An understanding of software development practices, especially Test-Driven Development (TDD), is important.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible) is required.
  • Candidates should be strong team players with excellent communication skills to collaborate across functions.
  • Experience working in production environments and familiarity with PaaS, SaaS, or IaaS models is necessary.
  • The ability to identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements for continuous growth is essential.
