Description:
The Ecosystem Data & Insights Lead will define and implement strategies for measuring and understanding Input | Output's (IO) developer ecosystem.
This role involves conducting research on developer communities, leveraging knowledge of blockchain and decentralized technologies, and implementing CRM systems.
The individual will develop IO's ecosystem intelligence function to translate ecosystem health metrics into business value.
The lead will act as the primary strategist for ecosystem data and social intelligence across IOG’s product lines and initiatives.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing a cohesive strategy for data gathering, analytics, and ecosystem metrics reporting that aligns with IO's long-term objectives.
The role requires defining and implementing clear ROI metrics and creating an ecosystem maturity model combining quantitative and qualitative indicators.
The lead will develop and execute an ecosystem CRM strategy focused on developer ecosystem needs, ensuring data quality and consistency across platforms.
The position involves running end-to-end social listening and research projects, translating data into actionable insights that support business growth and competitive positioning.
The lead will design and implement mixed-methodology studies that address business objectives and provide valuable insights.
The role includes utilizing AI and machine learning tools to optimize data collection and enhance insights generation.
The individual will establish a metrics-based framework for linking ecosystem and social intelligence data to IO’s broader business goals.
The lead will champion the value of social intelligence within IOG and promote a data-driven culture throughout IO and related ventures.
Responsibilities also include enabling broader access to ecosystem insights through intuitive dashboards and reports, tracking high-impact projects through clear success metrics.
Requirements:
A minimum of five years’ data insights experience, preferably with Web3 developer ecosystems, is required.
Candidates must demonstrate success working autonomously in remote environments.
Familiarity with blockchain technology and web3 ecosystems, along with a good understanding of wider technologies, is essential.
An understanding of governance systems and community dynamics is necessary.
Experience in developer ecosystem analytics and establishing metrics that drive decision-making is required.
Proven experience implementing or significantly enhancing CRM systems for technical communities is essential.
Candidates should be experts on social listening tools such as Brandwatch, TalkWalker, Netbase, Pulsar, or Meltwater.
A working knowledge of HubSpot and other similar CRM systems is required.
Competence in the creative use of AI tools to gather narratives and parse data into actionable insights is necessary.
Excellent writing and language skills in native English are required.
Some experience with Python and API management is preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills are necessary to liaise effectively across teams and convey complex data insights clearly.
A deep understanding of Web3 ecosystems and developer communities is essential, along with experience measuring technical ecosystem health.
Candidates must have a track record of driving cross-functional adoption of data tools and insights.
A strategic mindset with experience translating social listening and data insights into actionable business strategies is required.
Exceptional data storytelling skills are necessary to create compelling narratives with data for both technical and business audiences.
Candidates should be current in marketing effectiveness, data analysis, and Web3 analytics.
A proactive approach with inherent curiosity that drives continuous learning and innovative problem-solving is essential.
