Remote Engineering Lead

Description:

• The Engineering Lead position at Hex Trust involves leading a dedicated blockchain integration team and overseeing technical management aspects.
• Responsibilities include contributing to technical solutions design, investigating use cases for new chains, designing and updating architecture diagrams, performing hands-on development in blockchain technologies, providing leadership to meet project deadlines, promoting good coding practices, ensuring proper testing coverage, collaborating with various engineering teams, defining platform architecture aspects, coaching team on code quality and maintainability, enhancing team productivity, engaging with product management for requirement analysis, implementing platform security, ensuring code quality and conformity to standards, following software engineering processes and agile practices, escalating issues to management, building competencies in product and technology domain, maintaining individuality in decision making, providing feedback on product quality, supporting recruitment process, and fixing ad-hoc incidents/problems.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience in backend and blockchain development.
• Proven experience in blockchain development, familiarity with main chain types and transaction types, experience with microservices architectures on the cloud, proficiency in languages like Golang, Rust, Java, or C++, understanding of Node.js TypeScript, experience with message broker/queue systems, familiarity with concurrency and design patterns, knowledge of docker, CI/CD pipelines, deployments on cloud environments, OpenAPI standards documentation, Kubernetes clusters, security fundamentals, relational DBs, data schema management, Shell scripting, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Strong communication skills in English, team leadership skills, ability to work collaboratively, attention to detail, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, good planning and coordination skills, effective interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude, desire to learn and improve product quality.
