Description:
The Enterprise Cloud Engineer II position at Wellmark involves working with the workforce experience team to enhance products, services, and processes, with a focus on Amazon Connect.
Responsibilities include collaborating with Cloud Engineers, Developers, Security, and business stakeholders to optimize code templates, security, automation, and system performance/availability.
The role requires ensuring solutions align with overall architecture standards, serving as a technical resource for other engineering staff, and working cross-functionally with business stakeholders and technology resources.
The position involves creating presentations, partnering with global staffing vendors, and providing technical planning and system delivery support.
Requirements:
Preferred qualifications include prior experience with AWS services and Amazon Connect, MEAN Full Stack Development Experience, working with various cloud services, and providing guidance to others.
Candidates should have experience in a Product-centric organization, technical certifications, creating presentations, and partnering with global staffing vendors.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience, a minimum of 3 years' experience in cloud and/or system administration, scripting and coding experience, knowledge of DevOps/CICD methodologies and tools, and collaboration skills.
Applicants should have experience with scripting/automation tools, virtualization technologies, defining IT solution scope, strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, risk understanding, process improvement skills, curiosity to learn new skills, and willingness to travel less than 5%.
