Description:

  • Nibiru Chain is seeking an EVM smart contract engineer to lead large projects with a long-term impact on the business.
  • The engineer will tackle complex engineering problems and set up processes/tooling to improve engineering team efficiency.
  • Responsibilities include designing and developing smart contracts on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains, implementing robust testing frameworks, and ensuring contract integrity through security best practices and audits.
  • The engineer will collaborate with the product team to design and refine protocols, ensuring they meet high-performance and user-friendly standards.
  • They will work with front-end developers, back-end services, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of smart contracts into the broader ecosystem.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest in Ethereum and DeFi standards, EIPs, and emerging trends is essential, along with proposing relevant improvements to the architecture.
  • The engineer will also produce clear, concise documentation for internal and external developer use.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 2+ years of professional experience in software development, ideally within the blockchain/crypto sector.
  • A proven track record of developing and deploying production-grade smart contracts in Solidity is required.
  • Familiarity with Web3 tooling such as Hardhat, Truffle, Remix, and Foundry, as well as version control using Git, is necessary.
  • A deep understanding of EVM, gas optimization, and how transactions are processed on-chain is essential.
  • Knowledge of core Ethereum concepts like ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 is required.
