Satellite is seeking an experienced Python Engineer to join their team for the EdTech company FranklinCovey.
The role involves leading product implementations and collaborating directly with clients to understand and fulfill their requirements.
Responsibilities include back-end development using Python, focusing on scalability and performance.
The engineer will identify and drive process and system improvements across development and deployment.
Advanced data manipulation and orchestration using raw SQL queries is required.
The position also involves integrating external data sources and best-in-class third-party technologies.
Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for streamlined releases and deployment automation is part of the job.

Requirements:

A university degree, ideally in computer science, mathematics, or physics, is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of professional work experience as a Python developer.
Proven experience with the Django framework in production environments is necessary.
A strong understanding and practical experience with test-driven development (TDD) is required.
A proactive mindset with the ability to take full ownership of projects from concept to deployment is essential.
Candidates should have a passion for staying up-to-date with new technologies and continuous improvement.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex tasks independently are required.
Strong verbal and written English skills at a B2-C2 level are necessary.
