Description:

  • AdmitSmart is a startup aiming to revolutionize the college admissions process by providing AI-powered tools to school counselors.
  • The Founding Engineer will play a crucial role in developing the platform, shaping user experience, and setting the foundation for technology and team culture.
  • Responsibilities include leading feature development, collaborating on the technical roadmap, driving technical excellence, full-stack engineering, AI integration, data science, and working in an agile environment.
  • The tech stack focuses on generative AI technologies like GPT, LLaMa, and Claude, with proficiency in Python, APIs, full-stack deployment, AI solution development, coding, and defensive design strategy.

Requirements:

  • Cash compensation will be less than 50% of market cash compensation but with a significant equity stake in the business.
  • Proficiency as a full-stack engineer with intuitive design sense, capable of understanding big picture and fine details.
  • Skilled in front-end and back-end development, building intuitive interfaces and scalable systems.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments and tackling complex technical challenges.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of AI technologies and integrating advancements into practical solutions.
  • Passion for data science and continuous learning within a mission-driven team.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation, technical expertise, and contributing to meaningful change.
