Remote Founding Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Our client is building the AI Back Office for Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Clinics, starting from the ground up.
• They are developing a new class of EHR and Clinical Data Collection System that is user-friendly.
• As a Founding Full Stack Software Engineer, you will work closely with the CTO to ship company-defining features at high velocity.
• You will play a crucial role in developing the all-in-one platform for ABA clinics, ensuring it is both powerful and user-friendly.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining front-end and back-end components of the platform.
• You will collaborate with the CTO and other team members to scope out, prioritize, and implement key features.
• You will lead the development of complex projects from planning through execution.
• Conducting code reviews, debugging, self-QA, and unit testing to ensure high-quality deliverables is essential.
• You will implement automation for manual workflows to improve efficiency in ABA clinics.
• Developing solutions for non-tech-savvy audiences to simplify complex processes is part of the role.
• You will mentor and provide technical leadership to less experienced engineers.
• Proactively identifying areas for improvement and proposing innovative solutions is expected.
• Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is crucial.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7 to 10 years of experience as a software engineer at reputable companies.
• Extensive experience with front-end frameworks such as Typescript, React, NextJS, and Tailwind CSS is required.
• Proficiency in back-end development using MongoDB, Python, FastAPI, and Google Cloud Storage is necessary.
• Familiarity with LLMs (Gemini Pro, OpenAI) and video analysis workflows is preferred.
• Strong debugging, self-QA, and code review skills are essential.
• The ability to write clean, maintainable code with minimal bugs is required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are necessary.
• Startup experience is preferred for this position.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a high-velocity, early-stage startup environment.
