Description:
Interactive Strategies is seeking a Front-End Developer who can merge great design with solid technology.
The role involves participating in all aspects of projects, requiring self-starters and passionate thinkers.
Candidates should focus on creativity and attention to detail, ensuring effective implementation of design concepts.
The company emphasizes lean web experiences without using bloated frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.

Requirements:
Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of standards-compliant, responsive HTML & CSS.
A strong understanding of both vanilla Javascript and Javascript frameworks, specifically React and/or Next.js, is required.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of usability across various device types and major web browsers.
Knowledge of best practices for accessibility and WCAG 2 compliance (minimally AA) is essential.
Experience with CSS preprocessors (SCSS, Sass, Less) and task-runners like Gulp is necessary.
Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for retrieving developer specifications and graphic assets is required.
A keen eye for design accuracy, consistency, and improvisation skills when specific designs are not provided is important.
Candidates must provide samples of work showcasing their skill set, including a portfolio link, website examples, or GitHub repositories.
Not required but highly desired knowledge includes design experience, Git for version control, package managers, build tools, basic CMS knowledge, back-end or full-stack development experience, and experience with data fetching and external APIs.
