Remote Front End Developer / Next.js

Description:

• As a Front End Developer at IOG, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of IOG’s web assets, which are crucial for public interaction with the company's products.
• You will work on a Jamstack set-up using Next.js and Sanity CMS, along with technologies like JavaScript, Node JS, and React.
• Your duties will include building reusable code, optimizing code for speed and scalability, collaborating with various teams, implementing site builds, and maintaining deployed assets post-launch.
• You will also be involved in process improvements, ensuring high-quality standards, and working on project deliverables within deadlines.
• Communication, teamwork, and a focus on accuracy towards design vision are essential aspects of this role.

Requirements:

• Expert level understanding of JavaScript, React, and the React ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of JS ecosystem, including NPM, Node JS, and Jamstack.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, LESS, SASS, Tailwind CSS, and Git workflows.
• Experience with Next.js, headless CMS-driven static site generation, and building responsive, mobile-first layouts.
• Good understanding of SEO principles, working to deadlines, and handling change effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment shipping public-facing web assets and working on visually refined modern marketing websites.
• Familiarity with UX/Design principles and basic knowledge of image and design editing tools like Figma.
