Remote Front End Engineer (Hourly Engagement)

Description:

• RYZ Labs is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to lead and execute technical initiatives.
• The role involves developing a roadmap aligned with strategic goals and KPIs in partnership with the technical CEO.
• The focus will be on ensuring architectural excellence and code quality while empowering the Implementation Engineer to deliver impactful features for web and mobile PWA environments.
• The engineer will act as a key liaison between the C-Suite and the development team, maintaining development momentum while the executive team addresses broader strategic objectives.
• Key responsibilities include collaborating on defining and prioritizing quarterly and sprint-level goals, reviewing designs and code for best practices, advising on system architecture and integrations, guiding the implementation engineer, and facilitating communication between product, design, and engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a senior/full-stack engineer or technical lead, preferably in startups or lean teams.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions), Chakra UI, and Recoil is required.
• A proven track record of delivering KPI-driven features with minimal rework is essential.
• Strong code-review skills, including experience in formalizing style guides, linting, and CI/CD pipelines, are necessary.
• Excellent communication skills are required to summarize complex trade-offs and influence stakeholders.
• Candidates should be self-starters who thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
