The role involves working on various projects like an e-commerce storefront for pet medications, an advertising platform for veterinary clinics, and a mobile shopping experience for veterinary practices.
As a Front End Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming ideas into reality, developing core features of the platform, collaborating with talented developers, and creating user-friendly experiences for veterinarians and pet owners.
The position involves using frontend tools like JavaScript (React, React-Query), Typescript, Less.js, React Native for mobile, and Git for version control.
Responsibilities include building and extending interactive React applications, creating reusable components, implementing new features in React Native applications, and collaborating with the engineering team to enhance the platform and products.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of professional software engineering experience, with a preference for web application development.
Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly React and TypeScript, is required.
Experience in converting hi-fidelity Figma designs into React components is essential.
A deep understanding of CSS and its latest features is necessary for designing interfaces.
Excellent communication skills are vital for collaborating effectively in a team focused on pet wellness.
The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
A passion for making a real difference in the lives of pets and their caregivers is highly valued.
Previous experience in building successful applications, preferably in a modern web framework, is desired.
Tech or startup experience is beneficial, but a genuine love for animals and their well-being is emphasized.
