Description:
GoodParty.org is seeking a talented Front End Developer to join their mission-driven team.
The role involves building intuitive, accessible, and AI-powered tools, as well as managing their headless CMS-based website.
The developer will create seamless web experiences to support candidates in running, winning, and serving without partisan or big-money influences.
The first priority will be to work with the Growth team on the headless CMS-based website and programmatic webpages.
When not engaged in Growth projects, the developer will work on products that assist candidates and elected officials.
Responsibilities include building intuitive tools for both desktop and mobile web, turning product requirements into high-quality software, and implementing AI and LLM use cases.
The developer will maintain design standards and collaborate with a lean, agile team using Kanban methodologies.
The position reports to the CTO and partners closely with the Director of Growth.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with Next.js and TailWind or a similar CSS framework.
Strong JavaScript skills, experience with React.js, and excellent CSS/SCSS skills are required, with 70% of the work focused on the front-end.
A minimum of 4 years of relevant full-time work experience is preferred, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using AI, LLMs, and automation tools is necessary, along with technical and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve problems.
Candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems in real-time.
Bonus qualifications include experience with headless CMS platforms, Vercel or AWS, and involvement in politics or democracy reform.
