Remote Frontend Developer

Description:

• SupplyHouse.com is seeking a full-time Frontend Developer based in India to merge design and programming skills.
• The selected individual will collaborate with Development and Design teams to create enterprise-level web applications.
• Responsibilities include building new user-interfaces (UI), ensuring technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, and optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
• The role involves collaboration with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Back-End Development teams to align technology and design.
• The Frontend Developer will review code from other developers, ensure adherence to industry best practices, and implement SEO best practices.
• Staying updated with the latest front-end technologies and making recommendations for their use is also part of the job.
• This position is remote, requiring the candidate to be located in India and able to verify their right to work in the country.
• Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, with a minimum of 4-5 hours of overlap for effective collaboration.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of professional frontend development experience, or no degree with 6+ years of experience is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in Responsive Web Design and proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, particularly with 3+ years in ReactJS, is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Server-Side Rendering (SSR) is required.
• Candidates should have an in-depth understanding of RESTful services/APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with JS Frontend unit/integration testing and client-side monitoring tools, such as Sentry, is necessary.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex) and object storage services (e.g., S3) is required.
• The ability to translate prototypes and designs into clean, valid, and launch-ready markup is essential.
• A deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility and a passion for producing pixel-perfect code is expected.
• Experience with CSS pre-processing frameworks (Sass or Less) and other styling methodologies is required.
• Knowledge of CMS systems, such as WordPress and Joomla, is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
