Description:
The Frontend Developer position at SupplyHouse.com involves building new user interfaces, components, and libraries for enterprise-level web applications.
The individual will collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and the Back-End Development team to ensure tech and design alignment.
Responsibilities include optimizing applications for speed and scalability, reviewing code, and implementing industry best practices like accessibility and privacy compliance.
The developer will stay updated on the latest front-end technologies and make recommendations for their use.
The role requires working standard business hours that overlap with U.S. hours for effective collaboration.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of professional frontend development experience or 6+ years of experience without a degree.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES5+), TypeScript, Node.js, Responsive Web Design, and client-side scripting.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js and ReactJS (3+ years in ReactJS preferred), Server-Side Rendering, RESTful services/APIs, and asynchronous programming.
Familiarity with state management libraries, object storage services, CSS pre-processing frameworks, and CMS systems.
Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, client-side monitoring tools, and translating prototypes into launch-ready mark-up.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
