Remote Frontend Engineer

Description:

• As a Frontend Engineer at BOB, you will be responsible for building and extending the current BOB UI and other applications that interact with REST APIs and blockchains like BOB, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.
• Your role involves implementing features to enhance user experience, fixing bugs, and integrating analytics to optimize user flows.
• You will collaborate with UX, design, backend, and dev ops teams to define APIs, integrate services, and improve existing tools.
• Responsibilities also include reviewing pull requests, providing feedback for enhancements, and engaging in discussions with the core team on partner requirements and feature roadmap.

Requirements:

• Must have five or more years of experience building scalable, secure front ends using Typescript and React (or similar frameworks).
• Proficiency in core frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential.
• Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and a strong interest in Ethereum, EVM, subgraphs, and Web3.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams including backend, UX, design, dev ops, and product.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and excellent communication skills in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bitcoin, Viem, Wagmi, Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar blockchain libraries.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Cypress, contributions to open-source projects, and monorepo experience.
• Knowledge of Vercel is a plus.
