The role is for a Frontend Software Engineer in the Billing & Platform UX team, responsible for processing millions of transactions globally.
The team collaborates with cross-functional teams and payment service providers to enhance checkout conversion rates and account management interactions.
Responsibilities include researching and executing strategic projects, influencing B2B and B2C checkout conversion, implementing new payment mechanisms, and building user interfaces that aggregate billing information.
The engineer will develop skills in scalability, system architecture, and code quality assurance while promoting a supportive work environment focused on wellbeing.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience is required.
Candidates must have experience in developing front-end applications based on RESTful APIs and collaborating with back-end teams.
Proficiency in the ReactJS ecosystem, Typescript, Javascript, and NodeJS is necessary.
A good understanding of browser functionality and experience with automated, unit, and behavioral testing of React components is required.
Familiarity with implementing prototypes, MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles is essential.
A software quality and test automation mindset is expected.
Experience with monitoring, observability, and accessibility principles is important.
Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English and Portuguese are required.
