Remote Frontend Software Engineer

Description:

• This role will be virtual, remote-based and will not consider non-US based or Corp to Corp candidates.

• Callibrity Software Developers serve as technical subject matter experts, mentoring fellow engineers and leading a small team through challenging programming and design problems.

Requirements:

• A BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience is required.
• Fullstack experience is necessary, with proficiency in both frontend (React, JavaScript preferred) and backend (Kotlin, Java, Go, PHP preferred) development.
• Candidates must have 8+ years of experience developing systems/software for large business environments.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience designing complex systems, management products, or business applications is required.
• Strong experience in cloud computing environments like AWS/GCP is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles, with the ability to implement them in a preferred language, is necessary.
• Experience leading the design and implementation of robust, highly scalable services is required.
• Candidates should be skilled in software development lifecycle processes with experience in scrum, agile, and iterative approaches.
• Expertise in unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD) is essential.
• Candidates must successfully solve Callibrity’s CoderPad and Code Pairing Challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, professionalism, accountability, and a passion for learning, are required.
