Remote Frontend Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Description:

• Join a cross-functional client-focused team as a Front End Software Engineer.
• Advocate for writing clean, secure, and well-tested code following best-practice guidelines.
• Translate user needs into technical solutions in collaboration with the product owner and team members.
• Work through the entire lifecycle of a service or product, from understanding requirements to deployment, support, and maintenance.
• Be proactive in identifying and addressing potential risks and meeting deadlines.
• Join a new team focusing on 'attribution' in affiliate marketing, allowing users to configure targeted rewards.
• Work with the latest cloud-based stack on AWS, including Angular, TypeScript, Java/Spring, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Have input in defining team practices and processes within Awin Engineering.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial Software Engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Angular, ideally v17, with a strong understanding of directives, components/services, and dependency injection.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Passion for writing elegant code, refactoring, and improving with a good grasp of SOLID principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture.
• Ability to conduct code reviews, write tests, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaboration within a cross-functional engineering team with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Agile Coaches.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of TDD, Pair Programming, streaming/queuing solutions, relational database design principles, and SQL proficiency.
