Description:

  • Aequilibrium is seeking a Canadian-based Full Stack Developer to join their team, working with a top global brand in gaming and entertainment.
  • The role involves contributing to the development of innovative financial and banking applications.
  • Responsibilities include building, developing, and maintaining responsive web applications from scratch.
  • The developer will translate UI/UX prototypes and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring design consistency.
  • Collaboration with the backend development team is essential to integrate APIs and services for seamless data flow.
  • The position requires designing and implementing modular and reusable code structures based on business requirements.
  • Optimizing web application performance for fast load times and responsiveness across various browsers and devices is crucial.
  • Staying updated with the latest front-end technologies and applying best practices to improve product quality is expected.
  • Participation in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and improve development processes is part of the job.
  • The developer will ensure cross-browser compatibility and work on improving user experience by addressing usability and performance issues.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in core web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript is required.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.js is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience with Full stack Java and/or .Net.
  • A minimum of 4 years programming experience with Python and TypeScript is required.
  • Fluency in working with the React framework is essential.
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git and collaboration platforms such as GitHub is needed.
  • Proficiency in using CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS, and experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind is required.
  • A solid understanding of APIs and how to integrate front-end applications with back-end services using RESTful APIs or GraphQL is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a strong understanding of responsive design principles and experience building mobile-first applications.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and performance optimization techniques is required.
  • Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) is necessary.
  • Experience working with Azure backend systems and/or C# backends is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering clean, well-documented code is essential.
  • The ability to work in an Agile development environment and participate in SCRUM ceremonies is required.
  • Experience in the Professional Services industry is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field is required.
  • Candidates must be Canadian residents with Citizenship or PR Status.
