The Full Stack Developer II position involves data collection, modeling, and integration strategies, developing solutions for the enterprise using Python, AWS, and the Informatica Cloud platform.
This role requires applying data science principles to solve business problems by combining software development skills with business acumen.
Responsibilities include solving business-related problems using data-driven techniques, collecting and transforming large amounts of data, influencing technical design, and making recommendations for process improvements.
The developer will perform peer reviews of SQL, reports, and dashboards, analyze data for business insights, and develop data integration solutions using cloud-centric data tools.
The position involves troubleshooting and supporting implemented applications, participating in all phases of the software development life cycle, and working in an agile/scrum environment.
The developer will be responsible for designing, documenting, and presenting solutions to senior leaders in IT and will work independently with limited supervision.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required for this position.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or data architecture.
Proficiency with the company's data model and its application across various organizational functions is necessary.
The role requires expertise in Python programming and a strong understanding of Pythonic principles and practices.
In-depth knowledge of AWS architecture and services, particularly Lambda functions, is essential for managing serverless operations.
Candidates must be proficient in designing and implementing Omni-channel API integrations with external partners.
Familiarity with additional AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and CloudFormation is required.
A strong understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts and experience with code version control systems like Git is necessary.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization tools, and test-driven development (TDD) is preferred.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to lead sprints is required.
