Description:
Concord is seeking a Full-Stack Developer with strong experience in React, Java, and AWS for a project in the fintech industry.
The role involves creating applications that meet customer needs and translating insights into working proof-of-concept code.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality web application code, conducting code reviews, and writing unit and integration tests to ensure site stability.
The developer will contribute to the design and architecture of the project while implementing best practices for architecture, design, coding standards, and CI/CD.
The position requires developing and integrating with third-party platforms through APIs and working with GraphQL for efficient data querying and management.
The developer must write clean, maintainable, and testable code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and debug issues across the stack to ensure optimal performance and security.
Continuous improvement and staying updated with emerging technologies are also key aspects of the role.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience designing and developing consumer-facing web applications and integration-centric solutions using modern API technologies.
A BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience is required.
The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience with React and JavaScript in a single-page architecture, along with hands-on knowledge of web technologies such as Redux and React-Native.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS is necessary.
Experience with Kotlin/Java and web services (creating and consuming) using REST or GraphQL API modeling is required.
Familiarity with standard JavaScript async patterns, including closures, callbacks, promises, and error handling is essential.
Candidates should have experience with unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD).
A solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns is expected.
Experience with Postgres, Data Lake, Kafka, and schema modeling is a plus.
A strong understanding of Software Design, Architecture, and working with large-scale systems is required.
Knowledge of streaming frameworks and event-driven architecture is advantageous.
Candidates must have a solid foundation in writing scalable web application code that adheres to best practices of accessibility, internationalization, and instrumentation.
The ability to understand and execute the paradigm of “Discover-Implement-Ship-Measure-Learn” is important.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with onsite and remote teams are essential.

The position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance and business needs.
The role is remote, allowing for flexibility in work location.
The hourly rate ranges from $65/hr to $75/hr.
The targeted start date for the position is May-June 2025.
