Description:
Kpler is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their Supply and Demand (S&D) team, which is focused on building a data product that provides insights into the commodities supply value chain.
The role involves contributing to the product roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners and peer engineers.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing APIs, user interfaces, and other publication channels, as well as designing and implementing data pipelines.
The engineer will also contribute to documentation, ensuring it is relevant and up to date, and share expertise with team members to provide help and guidance when needed.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience as a full stack developer, with hands-on experience in Python, Postgres, NextJS, and VueJS.
A strong understanding and commitment to software craftsmanship principles is required.
Applicants should be able to design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
The ability to design and implement relevant and responsive user interfaces is essential.
It is preferred that candidates have experience designing data pipelines, particularly using Python and Airflow.
Experience with cloud engineering and Infrastructure as Code (IaS) tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes is a plus.
Exposure to messaging middleware is also beneficial.
