Description:

  • Softrams is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in modern web application development using React for the frontend and Node.JS for the backend.
  • The role involves building and utilizing REST APIs backed by DocumentDB or MongoDB on the caching layer.
  • The selected candidate will be part of a collaborative and agile team that supports and delivers enterprise solutions for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
  • This position is eligible for 100% remote work, but the candidate must work during standard east coast hours of 9am ET to 5pm ET.
  • The role requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation, and candidates must have resided in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, Typescript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, LESS, SASS, and CSS.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in React is required.
  • Candidates should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building scalable applications with Node.JS using frameworks like Express.JS or Nest.JS.
  • Experience with containerization technologies using Docker is necessary.
  • Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem (S3, ECS, RDS, Lambda, Parameter Store) and related tools is required.
  • Candidates must have experience debugging using monitoring applications like AWS Cloudwatch or New Relic.
  • Experience in developing modular, test-first, mobile-first, reusable components and web apps with React is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience building microservices using Node.js.
  • A test-driven mindset with experience in tools like Jasmine or Protractor is required.
  • Strong experience with git and modern build tool chains (webpack, gulp, npm) is necessary.
  • Candidates must be able to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Experience working in agile environments using tools like JIRA and Confluence is required.
  • Candidates should have experience optimizing components for performance across various devices and browsers.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB is necessary.
  • Candidates must provide code samples from GitHub or similar platforms.
  • Socially accessible profiles demonstrating work and participation in collaboration hubs are required.
