Remote Full Stack Engineer

Description:

• lastminute.com is seeking a Frontend Developer/Full Stack Developer with expertise in React and some experience in Backend technologies, particularly Java/Kotlin and Spring.
• Responsibilities include researching, designing, writing, and testing software programs using Agile methodologies.
• The role involves maintaining systems, identifying and correcting software defects, exploring new technologies, and updating technical skills.
• Problem-solving individually or as part of a team to meet project requirements.

Requirements:

• 4-6+ years of experience as a Full Stack developer with proficiency in React, Styled components, Typescript, Jest, Html, and Css.
• Strong coding background in Java/Kotlin and Typescript/Javascript.
• Good understanding of the Spring environment, Git, and continuous integration.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Curiosity to explore innovative problem-solving approaches.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Node.js/Next.js for backend development.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, SpringBoot, Spring, Mysql, Mvn.
• Competence in testing techniques like TDD and BDD.
• Interest in open-source software and contribution.
• MS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
