Description:

• Locus Robotics is a leader in eCommerce order fulfillment optimization, helping warehouse owners achieve 2-3X efficiency improvements over cart-picking operations.
• The company empowers pickers to work collaboratively with robots while integrating with the operator’s Warehouse Management System and optimizing existing facility infrastructure.
• The position is for a Full Stack Developer with at least 3+ years of experience in modern UI and Backend development technologies.
• The role involves making a significant impact on the technical direction of products, improving core functionality, and adding new features to the robotic application interface.
• This is a remote role available to candidates in the US, Canada, England, Scotland, Portugal, and Spain.
• Responsibilities include contributing to software design and architecture, maintaining current systems, developing high-quality code, and assisting with troubleshooting customer problems.
• The developer will work within a Scrum environment, build partnerships with UX designers, Software Developers, and Product Managers, and perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering degree is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly with SQL, C#, and .NET, along with strong object-oriented design and development skills.
• Experience with API-first development, especially leveraging REST, is necessary.
• Proficiency in UI development and familiarity with popular UI frameworks like React.js or Angular.js is required.
• Candidates should have exposure to designing multi-threaded applications and experience in deploying and supporting those applications in production.
• A solid understanding of database technologies, including relational SQL and NoSQL databases, is essential, with a preference for Microsoft SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail are required.
• Experience with agile software development and Scrum methodologies is necessary.
• A track record of Test Driven Development using testing principles and practices is required.
• Familiarity with native cloud application development (GCP, AWS, Azure) and continuous deployment experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, and Rust is advantageous.
• Proficient English written and verbal communication skills are required for effective collaboration.
