Remote Full Stack Engineer, Contract at 66degrees

Description:

66degrees is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a 9-week remote contract assignment with the potential to extend.
The candidate should be able to start by the second week of November.
Responsibilities include creating RESTful APIs using Python frameworks like Flask or Django, designing and managing databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, and identifying and fixing bugs across the application stack.
The role requires using Git for code tracking, collaboration, and release management.
A solid grasp of Python syntax, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming is essential.
Candidates must be able to work in UK hours, specifically from 2 PM to 10 PM IST or 3 PM to 11 PM IST.

Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing serverless and cloud-native applications is required.
Experience in both front-end and back-end development is necessary.
Required skills include React and Python, with at least 5 years of experience in both.
Experience with GraphQL, SSR, RSC, Redux, and MaterialUI is desired.
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
Expertise in working with API frameworks is essential.
Proficiency in developing applications on the Google Cloud Platform suite of products and services is a plus.
Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) is required.
Candidates should be familiar with agile processes and Git.
A background in professional services or consulting is preferred.
Strong communication skills are necessary.
