Remote Full Stack Engineer at Softrams

Description:

Softrams is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in modern web application development using React, Kubernetes, and AWS.
The role involves being part of a collaborative and agile team that delivers enterprise solutions.
The position allows for 100% remote work but requires availability during standard east coast working hours.
The candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
Responsibilities include analyzing complex business and engineering challenges, designing user experiences, and developing scalable solutions.
The engineer will collaborate with multiple teams, champion modern development practices, and support test-driven development.

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
5+ years of experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, Typescript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, LESS, SASS, CSS.
5+ years of experience in React and 3+ years in building applications with Java frameworks.
Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, EKS, RDS, Lambda.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD, git, and modern build tools.
Ability to translate designs into high-quality code and optimize components for performance.
Experience working in agile environments and using related tools.
AWS certifications, familiarity with noSQL databases, and proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, and other tools are desired.
