Description:
Coforma is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer III to join their distributed team, working on complex problems and delivering elegant products across a modern technology stack.
The engineer will collaborate with researchers and designers to create human-centered solutions and articulate technology solutions that aim to improve lives.
The position offers an annual salary range of $117,420 to $143,170, with placement based on competency level.
The role involves writing and reviewing code, solving problems across the tech stack, applying best practices, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
The engineer will work with open-source programming languages, frameworks, testing frameworks, APIs, databases, infrastructure tools, and deliver polished, scalable, and maintainable code.
Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience in relevant areas and experience in digital services, government, or federal consulting.
The position is US-based remote, open to applicants in specific states, with some travel required.
Requirements:
Proficiency in writing accessible semantic HTML, clean CSS, and open-source programming languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby, Python, Java, etc.
Experience with frameworks, libraries, or runtimes like React, Rails, Node, Next, Angular, Spring, etc., and testing frameworks like Jest, Testing Library, Mocha, Playwright, Cypress, etc.
Knowledge of leveraging the command line via shell scripting, working with APIs and databases of various types, and infrastructure tools like Terraform, Serverless, Amazon CDK, etc.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
