Description:

RYZ Labs is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a partner in the subscription box and e-commerce industry.
The role involves developing and delivering clean, maintainable, and performant code.
Responsibilities include defining architectural strategies for systems, reviewing code, and providing feedback on technical work.
The engineer will build services and tooling to streamline the development process and mentor less experienced engineers.
Participation in sprint-related meetings such as standup, grooming, retrospective, and roadmap replenishment is expected.
The engineer will encourage a culture of experimentation and provide consultation for non-technical teammates regarding technical decisions.
Advocacy for new technology and design patterns that can benefit the business is a key part of the role.
The position offers an opportunity to work in a remote and distributed team environment, focusing on autonomy and efficiency.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have six or more years of experience as a software engineer, building and operating production systems at scale.
Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages is necessary.
Experience in the e-commerce sector is a significant plus.
Some experience with React is also advantageous.
