Factored is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in React and Python to join their dynamic development team.
The role involves designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge GenAI applications.
Responsibilities include developing new user-facing features using React, ensuring high-quality, reusable, and efficient code.
The engineer will participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify bugs, and suggest improvements.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement application features is essential.
The position requires supporting robust and scalable backend components using Python.
The engineer will develop and maintain both front-end and back-end web applications.
Integration of ML models into applications and improving the scalability and performance of existing applications are key tasks.
The role includes assisting with hosting and deployment of applications and ensuring a seamless transition between different environments.
Contribution to the design and development of public-facing demos is expected.
Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and sharing knowledge with the team is important.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in front-end/back-end web development.
Strong experience with React and Next.js is necessary.
A demonstrable portfolio of projects showcasing strong and recent experience exclusively with React and Python is required.
A solid understanding of web development principles, including RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and frontend/backend integration, is essential.
Familiarity with LLMs is preferred.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for teamwork, are necessary.
The ability to adapt to a fast-paced, agile development environment is important.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written (B2 - C2), are required.
